Color: Brown Tabby
Size: Approx.
Status: Available with Foster
Good With Kids: Not Yet Determined
Good With Cats: Yes

Ace is a laid-back kitty who is very sweet. When he is playing, he is very active, but in a gentle way, and has learned to play fetch with felt mice. Don't be surprised to find one on your bed in the morning waiting to be thrown and fetched. He's great with other cats and was in a foster home with a small indoor dog. He has cute white feet and a wonderful tabby pattern. And when you get him purring, it is a very loud roar.

Annabelle

Thank You Rena, in loving memory of Grady & Baby Girl for becoming the Pal for Paws Sponsor of Annabelle.
Breed:Domestic Medium Hair
Sex: Female
Age: Approx. 1 year(s)
Color: Calico
Size: Approx.
Status: Available with Foster
Good With Kids: Older Children
Good With Cats: Yes
Good With Dogs: No

Annabelle is an awesome cat! She loves to play as well as sit by her humans.

As a kitten, Annabelle exhausted everyone with her high-speed dashes and robust wrestling matches with toy mice. She was temporarily sidelined this winter after having knee and hip surgery. She'd like to chalk it up to a ski accident in Vale but it wasn't due to anything more exciting than she just had bad hips and knees.

After recuperating, she is back to her normal, active, self. Her favorite part of the day is laser toy time where she and her foster's cat take turns trying to catch the light. Annabelle isn't a lap cat but likes to sit next to you or at your feet. She can't jump so she uses her front paws to reach up to get to you. She will not be jumping on your counters or tables. She is a talker and will let you know - - loudly - - how excited she is to see you and that she likes her food.

She'd like a home where her new family will be gentle with her legs but still engage her in fast and furious play time. She gets along with other cats as long as they are not overly aggressive toward her. She's had a bad experience with a black cat so is very apprehensive around all black cats. She currently enjoys playing chase and ambush with her foster family's tabby and may make a great companion to an existing younger cat or as an older pal to a kitten. She'd also do great solo but would what some quality human attention. While Annabelle likes being where the action is at home, she gets a little stressed at adoption events, look past her nervousness when you meet her.

Please contact jlzienta@aol.com for more information.

   Bonnie

Thank You Aaron & Kristy for becoming the Pal for Paws Sponsor of Bonnie.
Breed:Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Female
Age: Approx. 3 year(s)
Color: White and Gray
Size: Approx.
Status: Available with Foster
Good With Kids: No
Good With Cats: Not Yet Determined
Good With Dogs: Not Yet Determined

Bonnie is a sweet, beautiful cat, who needs a quiet home. She is just a doll. She does like to be pet and prefers to be around her owners. She will come up to you and rub against your legs. She will spend hours with you, perhaps laying on your desk while you work on the computer, or near you in the family room while you read. She does like to play with her toys, especially the fishing-style cat toys and toys with feathers. She can be very skittish, especially with strange sounds. She is a horizontal-scratcher and uses the litter box religiously.

Bonnie's heart beats too quickly when she is stressed, which over time can cause callouses to form on the heart. The vet has her on a beta-blocker which helps her heart beat slower. Due to this heart condition, her former owners sadly decided they couldn't take her to China when a job requirement caused them to have to move. She would have had to have handled the long flight and then been in isolation for a month before she could even get to her new home.

She would be a perfect companion for someone. Retired? Kids out of the house? Please consider adopting Bonnie.

Please contact petfinderpam@aol.comor libby_dale@msn.com for more information.

Flash is looking for a great conversationalist. He will meow in your presence as if he has story to tell. This laid back feline has plenty to share: mainly, on how he became an outdoor cat when his family decided not to take him when they moved. Sad story, we know. But, Flash is a patient boy. He loves the window view from his perch on his foster's work desk and will "tell" you how much he would love a forever home with yummy food and people to give him lots chin scratches. He would like his next conversation to be about what's for dinner and that a good chin scratching might be in order afterwards....from you, perhaps? Foreclosure Felines: Andy

Thank You Trudy and Fritz for becoming the Pal for Paws Sponsor of Foreclosure Felines: Andy.
Breed:Domestic Short Hair
Sex: Male
Age: Approx. 1 year(s)
Color: Gray and White
Size: Approx.
Status: Available with Foster
Good With Kids: Older Children
Good With Cats: Yes
Good With Dogs: Not Yet Determined

Hi - it's me Andy. I know I look pretty cool in my picture. Truth is I am feeling much more comfortable now than I was several months ago. My mom, Miranda, and I were being cared for by a nice family and then they lost their home. They even paid to keep us in a storage facility where their furniture was being kept. This is when I started getting scared because of all the changes going on. They visited and fed us daily. I'm now in a foster home. It took me a little while to realize that I could trust my foster family, but now I feel comfortable lounging in my bed and playing. I love to play! I like to chase after a rope and I play hockey. I've even taught myself to retrieve a wiffle ball. Here's a video mix of my mom and I for you to enjoy. I like it when my foster mom brushes and pets me too. I'll really be happy when my mom and I can go to a forever home with people who understand that I might be a bit shy at first, but will come around.

Please contact PetFinderPam@aol.com for more information.

Foreclosure Felines: Miranda

Thank You Trudy & Fritz for becoming the Pal for Paws Sponsor of Foreclosure Felines: Miranda.
Breed:DSH
Sex: Female
Age: Approx. 4 year(s)
Color: Gray & White
Size: Approx. 7 pounds
Status: Available with Foster
Good With Kids: Older Children
Good With Cats: Yes
Good With Dogs: Not Yet Determined

Miranda and her son Andy have been through a lot. Miranda was a stray, who showed up at a kind family's house over a year ago. She brought with her apparently the only surviving kitten from her litter, Andy. The kind people took in mother and son, and cared for them well and with love. But hard times came, and Miranda and Andy's family lost first their business, and then their home. The family had to give them up after keeping them as long as they could. They even paid to keep the kitties in a storage facility where their furniture was being kept after they lost their home. They visited and fed them daily.

Miranda is a gentle, petite kitty who likes to play and get petted. She has the softest fur and her markings are just purrfect! She is shy at first, but is definitely ready to be in a home where she knows there are people she can trust and a place she'll be safe forever.

Please contact petfinderpam@aol.com for more information.

Her foster mom even got some VIDEO of Andy and Miranda to share with you.

This beautiful jet black cat with green eyes is still learning to trust and will benefit greatly from patient tender loving care. Merlot enjoys playing laser light and feather games. She is always with one of her sisters (Macy, Millie, Mia, Moon) and will join in any fun once they let her know it is "okay." Merlot is learning that tickles feel good and that laying near Foster Mom is nice. She enjoys climbing on her jungle gym and watching for birds from her window perch. Recommend experienced cat family with older children only. Merlot is a sweet but very shy kitten. She has made great progress while in foster care and will continue to grow into a wonderful family pet given a secure environment and love. Please contact cungar@ltdkate.com for more information.

Mia is a sweet tabby who is just waiting to make forever friends with her new family. Once Mia gets to know you she is eager to cuddle and enjoys being petted. Mia is especially affectionate with her siblings (Moon, Macy, Millie, Merlot) and seems to be the one always checking to make sure they are ok. Mia has encouraged each of them in turn to play with new toys and to follow her lead in trusting foster mom. She enjoys all of her cat toys but most of all she likes laying in the sun and watching everything from her window perch. Mia may even develop into a lap cat. Foster mom is sure that Mia will add warmth and fun to her forever home. (Recommend placement with an experienced cat family with older children only.) Millie is a down-to-earth kitty who is never far behind her sister Macy. The two look lots alike with Millie being just a tad bigger. Millie especially enjoys a game of laser light and is especially good about using her scratching posts (cat nip makes them completely irresistable). She has dicovered that looking out the window is a great pasttime and seems to especially enjoy bird watching. Millie is a very content kitty who is happy to be around but who does not demand a lot of attention. She is still shy around new people but given time in her forever home will make a wonderful family pet. Foster Mom recommends an experienced cat family with older children. Moon is a petite tabby whose big expressive eyes will melt your heart! Moon is discovering that everything can be an adventure. Moon has learned to trust her human friends and enjoys being petted. She is quick to join in cat games with her siblings (Mia, Macy, Merlot, Millie) and especially enjoys playing with feathers. She enjoys cuddling in her jungle gym, at the very top, where she can also see out her window. Moon is submissive to her sisters and often looks to them for reassurance. Foster mom has noticed that Moon is becoming more and more affectionate as her confidence grows. It is rewarding watching her "stretch herself" to try new things. Earlier in her life Scout had it made: A loving owner who had adopted her from LDCRF, and a glamorous life halfway around the world. Then Scout's owner became ill and had to return her. To make matters worse, the vet diagnosed a medium-grade heart murmur during a routine check-up. Fortunately, she shows no symptoms, and continues to chase imaginary mice around the house. Basically, however, Scout is a gentle, quiet lady who is trying hard to adjust to her bad luck. In her foster home Scout has gradually overcome her shyness, sleeping on her foster mom's bed and starting to show signs of affection. She loves to snuggle close on a cold night and will lick your face to remind you that it's breakfast time. Now Scout needs a new owner with the patience to help her take those last few steps and become the calm, trusting cat she once was. Please contact sgarcia@usccb.org for more information.

Hello, I am Tickety-Boo, a special loving Calico girl looking for my forever home. Tickety-Boo is a British expression that means "all is ok". I love my foster Mom, sitting on the sofa beside her, purring, and giving loving licks. I am very inquisitive and so interested in all I see from my window perch. I admit that I am a little plump since I don't have a whole home to run through and explore and I do so enjoy my dry food and treats! My coat is spotlessly white with pretty markings and I have especially dainty paws that love to knead. I am too shy to travel to adoption fairs, but once acquainted, I have so much love to share. However, I do not believe I could ever learn to love other cats! Mom has no idea how I might react to dogs, Can you help make everything tickety- boo in my life by giving me a loving, forever home? If so, please call her foster Midge at 703-534-8394 or email her at mthopewang@yahoo.com.

Any family would be fortunate to welcome this adorable pair of kittens into their home. They are playful, but not too rambunctious. They are cuddly and love each other's company as well as human company. They were adopted about about a month ago and recently returned because the young boy in the family turned out to have severe cat and dog allergies. The family sadly had to return them and they are now hoping for another home just as loving, but with no allergies! They would be a perfect fit for your home!
