The Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation is a non-profit animal rescue organization saving the lives of thousands of homeless and abandoned pets each year. We rescue dogs and cats facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters, and place them for adoption in loving homes. ALL of our animals are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

Adopt a Shy Dog! This August, Lost Dog & Cat Rescue Foundation shines the spotlight on some of our lovely "wallflowers"- shy dogs who have been overlooked for adoption. Read the flyer!
Extra event this weekend only! Fairfax County Animal Shelter's July Cat Event is this Saturday 11-3pm. We will be showcasing some cats there!
EVENT TIME CHANGE! The Friday night Fairlakes event has a new time. The event is now 6:30PM to 8:30PM
A new way to donate! We are pleased to announce an easy way to donate regularly to the rescue with Automatic Monthly Donations!
Victims of Oil Spill get Second Chance with Lost Dog!
While several of these dogs are already up for adoption, some of these dogs are undergoing treatment for various health issues. If you'd like to help cover the cost of the treatments, please consider contributing below.

Government workers, please designate Lost Dog and Cat Rescue Foundation
(Our number has changed to #97890) as your charity of choice for the Combined Federal Campaign. Your dollars make the
difference in the lives of dogs and cats. A yearly contribution of $400 would allow two dogs to
receive life-saving heartworm treatment or pay for spay neuter surgery for four dogs or cats.
